Today I am going to talk to you about the colorful scarf. Lots of colors and different stitches. All the kids will want one. Easy to make if you knit for some time. Great way to practice if you are a beginner.

Made it as long and wide as you want. Mine is 96 cm long and 18 cm wide. My son loves it. I made it 3 years ago and he still wears it.

Has 4 colors and 2 types of stitches (knit and 2kint2purl).

Colors:

1.       Brick-red - 1

2.       Blue - 2

3.       Brown - 3

4.       Yellow - 4

Cast 40 stitches.

Make 4 rows with color 1 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 3 rows with color 2.

Make 4 rows with color 3 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 3 rows with color 4.

Make 4 rows with color 1 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 7 rows with color 2.

Make 2 rows with color 3 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 9 rows with color 4.

Make 5 rows with color 1 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 3 rows with color 2.

38 stiches

Make 5 rows with color 3 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

40 stitches

Knit 3 rows with color 4.

Make 5 rows with color 1 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 10 rows with color 2.

Make 5 rows with color 3 with this pattern: 2knit,2purl,2knit,2purl…2knit,2purl.

Knit 9 rows with color 4.
