Knitted pillow to match a knitted blanket

This is a project for beginners. It is also a great gift for friends and families. I made this pillow for my guest house to match our story. I made the Chunky blanket and the Rustic decoration with photos and I wanted to have some pillows in every rooms.

It is very simple. My pillow is 40 cm X 40 cm.

Cast the correct number of stitches for your yarn. You can use any yarn you want.

The pillow is made with basic knit stitch. So start knitted a piece 40 cm wide and 80 cm long. Fold the piece in half lengthwise and stitch up two sides with a yarn needle.

On the last side I sew 4 small buttons. I wanted buttons so is easy to wash it if necessary.

You can use any yarn and any pattern for your pillows. My pattern is matching also my blanket.
