Christmas decoration with pine cones and ribbons

I know we passed all the winter holidays, but I will start 2018 with a decoration you can use for any holiday. You can change the color of the ribbon and it will be great. Easy to make and with a few materials, this decoration is a great gift for a new house too.

Materials:

• -          White Ribbon
• -          Red Ribbon
• -          5 Pine cones – Use big ones so it look greater
• -          Glue

Directions:

Make a bow from the red ribbon. It could be any bow you know how to make.

Cut 5 pieces from the white ribbon with different sizes. Glue a pine cone in the middle of each white ribbon and let it dry for a few hours to be sure.

When they are dried bind all the white ribbons together and choose how you like your pine cones to hang.  For the hanging part, use 20 cm of white ribbon and bind the others white ribbons together. On top of the bind put the red bow.

Now you have a simple decoration for your house. If you use yellow and brown you can have an autumn decoration and with green and red could be use for Christmas or spring. You can make one for the Easter too, adding a small egg or rabbit on the decoration. Sky is the limit. Just use your imagination.
