Knitted cowl in 3 colors

Knitted cowl in 3 colors

With winter knocking on our door I started knitting and crocheting warm clothes or accessories for me or for friends. I am making gifts for my families: bracelets, cowls, shawls, etc.
I started small last year and I am getting bigger this year. I loved the impact of my loved ones.

Abbreviations:

K: knit
Yo: yarn over
RS: right side
K2tog: knit 2 together

Materials:

-          3 colors x 50 g knitting yarn (Strickgarn) grey, white and blue
-          Knitting needles No. 6

Directions:

Cast 60 stitches.
Row 1 (RS): knit
Row 2: knit
Row 3: k3,*yo, k2tog; repeat from *, k3
Repeat Row 1 – 3
As you can see is very easy to knit and has a great effect. This cowl is for me but my mother liked it so I am thinking to make on for her too.
It is the best way to learn how to knit.
Have fun knitting!

  1. Hi. Thank you for sharing your pattern. I do have one question, is this knit in the round or did you knit it straight and then seam it together?
