Paper Christmas baubles

Paper Christmas baubles

Give your Christmas decorations a personal touch by making with your family simple paper Christmas baubles. It is a great way to spend quality time with your kids and also teach them what Christmas is really all about: family, fun, love and carrying.

Materials:

  •           Paper
  •           A glass to use as a template if you don’t have a paper with a round template on it
  •           Scissors
  •           Glue
  •           Knitting needle
  •           Thread for hanging

Directions:

As you can see I have a paper with a circle pattern so I will cut all the round circles. If you don’t have a paper like that, use your glass and a pencil to make circles on the paper. I use for my baubles 3 or 4 circles but you can use as many as you like. The more you use the better it looks.

Cut out each circle and fold it in half, with the side you want to be see on the inside.
Take a folded circle, glue one side and then stick a second folded circle to it. Make sure you have straight edges. Take another folded circle and glue one side to the second circle.

Glue the third circle side to the first circle side. Now you have your first bauble. I attached the thread using the needle and making holes in the bauble. It will help keeping everything together better.
The thread can be as long as you want it.

Go have fun and try different sizes or forms. As you can see I made a few from the rest of the paper. I used the pieces between the circles.
Sky is the limit. Use your imagination and it will look great. Have fun!
